We are delighted by the wonderful support you have been showering on Banu Bablu Season 2. Thank you for being part of the journey!
As we near the end of this season, all five stories have now been published. And, just as many of you have been expecting, we have released a brand-new Banu Bablu song ahead of Onam!
The song is built around a fun and fascinating theme: “Maths is Everywhere.” Through music, rhythm and playful ideas, the song will show children how mathematics is woven into the world around us and into many of the things we see and do every day.
The lyrics are written by Sri. Sippi Pallippuram, one of Kerala’s most celebrated children’s writers and the recipient of numerous literary awards including Kendra Sahitya Academy and Kerala Sahitya Academy awards. He has also written several delightful songs for Kathu, Pupi, Manchadi and for Banu Bablu Season 1 earlier.
The music is composed by Sri. Manoj M., who composed several much-loved songs from the early seasons of Manchadi, including ‘Kunjayyappan Anavarune’, ‘Kunjikkunjikkurukka’ and ‘Oru Pachathavala’.
Adding their voices to the song are the talented young singers Darshana, Devashree, Dakshina and Devika.
We are excited to bring this colourful musical finale to you this Onam. Watch now — Banu and Bablu showing you just how much maths there is everywhere!
